Visit Panaca Park in Quimbaya

Otun Quimbaya Fauna and Flora Sanctuary
The Otún Quimbaya Fauna and Flora Sanctuary is a protected area under the supervision of the National Natural Parks. It is located within the Eje Cafetero, a few minutes from Pereira, the capital of the department of Risaralda.
It is a very beautiful and at the same time quiet place, where you can carry out different ecotourism activities, especially mammal and bird watching.
Its main attractions are the three groups of howler monkeys, whose cry echo at sunrise and sunset. Likewise, the mountain tapir, the puma, the ocelot, the nocturnal monkey and other animals that are a little more difficult to detect live in the sanctuary.
River: This trail runs parallel to the Otún River and is a good place to see different birds such as the Caucana guan, the mountain bull, and to see howler monkeys, frogs and butterflies.
